I currently have a 4 channel amp hooked up to my speakers on 2 channels and the other 2 are bridged for my bazooka. I was wondering if it was safe to hook up my brothers 10" sub thats been in my garage without damaging either the sub or the amp which ill be underpowering by aproximately 50w i believe. What do you guys think? I hooked it up yesterday and it sounds MUCH better than the bazooka but didnt want to leave it on too long since I was sure about the whole thing. Thanks for the help guys.

Amp Power Specs:4 ohm @ 14.4 volts: 4 x 50 w / 2 x 200 w2 ohm @ 14.4 volts: 4 x 100 w1 ohm @ 14.4 volts: - na –Subsonic Filter: - na –Capability: 2 ohm stereo

Sub Nominal Power is 250w; Max Power 500w

The only way to damage a sub is by overpowering it (or through mechanical failure like stabbing it with a screwdriver or playing it free air so it bottoms out). Sending it too little power will never damage it. Make sure you don't drive the amp to clipping, however, as that can increase the average power (even past the 200 watt rating - I believe fully clipped would be roughly 400 watts RMS) the amp puts out (which would then be enough to fry the sub). Rock the 10" and enjoy it!

been rocking it for a little less than 2 weeks and it hits way cleaner than the bazooka I used to have. Now i need to save up to get my sub amp installed. ( never had any electrical wiring experience so have to take it to get it hooked up.) for 10" subs
