Hello all this is my first post. Okay here is my issue.

I am building a car to race in the NASCAR mini stocks at Monroe Washington. In years past it has only been allowed to run a Carb. So last year they started allowing Fuel Injection.

So I bought a wrecked 93 Nissan 240sx off of Craigs List. I kept the running motor and the transmission along with the ECU the ECU plug, and then forward into the engine compartment. I have all the wiring that goes to the motor, and the positive cable back to the starter, alternator etc.

Okay so here is my question, All of this is going into a pre existing race that i bought, it is a 87 200sx, but that doesn't matter the car is nothing but tubes and suspension.

Okay so i got the motor, and transmission in the car. Now I am on to the wiring part, where do I go from here? Where do I introduce power to the system? I have a "Pinout" chart, so I know where the hot wire and the ground on the Ecu is that goes to the engine bay..... Do I clip that wire and add the switched power there? Does it need constant power also?

IF ANYONE CAN HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!

1 that looks like a cool chassis and your gonna have fun

2. are you using any dashboard? are you using a key or switches for ignition. you have the harness i assumme, so

Fuel Pump Relay-Black / Pink stripe Transmission Neutral Sensor-Green / Orange stripe ECU Relay-Red / Black stripe AC Relay-Green / Yellow stripe ECU Backup Power-Red Main Ignition Power -Black / Red stripe (THICK wire) ECU Power-Black / White stripe Idle Air Control Valve Power-Black / Yellow stripe

for the dash connector coming off the ecu

Yellow / Red stripe Tachometer signal Yellow / Green stripe Speedometer signal Orange Ignition start Black (may be more than one ground) Ground Blue / Green stripe AC signal Blue / Black stripe Water temp signal

I borrowed this from heavy throttle**
