hooking up a intake on a ka24e

ok ive posted a few threads regarding an intake for my Ka24e 240sx, today i picked up a Ractive Superflow Filter and a adaptor for the intake, when i looked closely today at the stock intake box i see a hose and a wired sensor it looks like running to the stock intake box. My question is am i missing a piece or do i just unplug those two things? thanks any feedback will be helpful
