hooking up 89(vg30i) pathfinder emissions, need help

Need some help with hooking up my emissions equipment. I have rebuilt the engine, and transmission, but when i dropped it back in and had serious issues with leaks, broken egr, and all those strange canisters. I had a 1 year waver, and because im on dissability, limited cash. Either way, i capped everything off, and my pathy runs awesome(a bit rich though). Now i have a month to pass emissions, and have no clue as what get wired what, and what is the order of the most important to least important emission systems.

what i need is.
a wire/vacuum line diagram that makes sense(the one in chiltons is a bit confusing, and has lines going to places that dont exsist on my motor),

a list of which is the most important(o2, egr, etc)

and any tricks. Im as familiar with my motor as can be expected for a home mechanic, but emissions has me a bit stymied, so any pics, tests, or generall knowledge would be greatly appreciated. As a resul Ill take all the info, take pics of my repairs, and do a right up to Hopefully be stickied, so others can find what im having problems solving.
