I will be moving to Cali in July I want to bring my 86 rx7, but worried about emissions. Can you email the info. to [email protected] on doing this process or what I can do to pass. Im running an aftermarket header w/ o2 sensor, a CARB cat, and a dynomax catback system, will I be able to pass? Im still running the airpump along with the spider web of hoses.

The header will have to be CARB as well, just having an o2 alone isn't enough...

As long as its running well, and any modifications to the emissions system (basically includes whole thing intake to cat) is in tact and functioning you should pass. Sounds like if your header has a CARB sticker, and the car isn't to run down you should be ok?

There is a visual inspection that all originally equipped emissions systems are in place and hooked up, then the vehicle is ran on a dyno with a probe in the exhaust. The car goes through a cycle of acceleration, coast and deceleration while a computer reads how much CO2, CO, NOx and HC are coming out the tail pipe...
