hood wont completely shut

so i was checking my power steering fluid, shut the hood and realized it wouldn't go down all the way. to make things worse my hood lath lever broke off and now i can't pull the hood to see if the release is just stuck. is there a way to manually release the latch so the hood will go down all the way.

maybe try pulling the relaese inside the car while having someone presses on the spot right abov the latch?ive never heard of this happening but it sounds like fun and i cant wait for it to happen to my car!good luck!

i had my gf push the hood down and i tried pulling the latch inside but still wouldn't work....

is there a way i can pull the cable from the engine bay towards the inside release or away?

im sorry, that made no sense, what do you mean?sounds like you have a bent front end.

Try loosening the Bolts on the latch,then try to shut it.
