Hood support gas cylinders

I saw one guy who carried a pair of vise grips with him and clamped it onto the piston rod to keep the hood from coming down. Or else cut off a piece of broomstick to hold the hood up.

Hey, my hood hold-up is a precisely notched 5 gal paint bucket stir stick from Home Depot and I have a pair of Vice Grip pliers in my tool box that I found clamped onto a hood rod at a local pick 'n' pull. Red neck x2!

Darn, if I'd only kept the hot tub it would have made one heck of an outdoor parts cleaner, multiple bubbling jets and all!

What's the latest regarding hunting transmissions? Got my spare plenum last weekend. Time to fix my self-inflicted AAC valve no-heating issue.

Mine's all fixed up.A few guys here are still fighting it.So that later model plenum with the PVC valvle's up top bolts right on ???
