Do you think it will look good to put one of these on your v?

That's all a matter of personal tastes.

For me: No, not unless it's actually feeding something like a turbo intercooler.

Well, since you asked, I'd say that it is absolutely ridiculous to put that on your Versa. Slapping on faux "performance" parts that do absolutely nothing just isn't cool, unfortunately. If the Versa utilized a hood scoop in some high-performance (SE-R, perhaps) version, then yes, I think a tasteful one would jazz things up.

But while you're at it with that, you might as well attach a dummy tail pipe to create fake dual exhaust. No offense, but I'd think most folks would agree. Unfortunately, in the wake of the crapfest "Fast and the Furious", purely cosmetic "performance parts" have been stuck on to too many cars, ruining them in the process.

It seems like your want to "fast and furious" out your car. opinions from this forum will probably all say no. If your gonna do it keep it tasteful and don't get all your stuff from autozone.

My personal opinion? That ranks right up there with the stick-on fake sunroofs I saw on ebay. But hey....if you like it, it's your car.

Honestly the faux hood scoop is not worth the trouble it would be cosmetic and non functional, a better idea would be to save the money for a perfomance mod..

An indented scoop like that might actually be really cool but the ebay one is raised. I kind-of like the ebay one, I almost put one of those on my old Celica just for kicks, but it would be hard to make it look like it belonged on the car.

If you like it do it. Who cares if anyone else likes it. It's your car. If you do it post some pics!

ROFL if I ever see one of those fake sunroofs im going to run back and rip it off so when the guy comes back he can say, "Who stole my sunroof!"

I think that will be the first time those 4 words were used together in a sentence.

yea I seen those sunroofs in the CarDomain news letter awhile back, HILLARIOUS!

TO THE OP, one up everybody, and buy the scoop, and fabricate a way to utilize the air that is being gathered by it. I was planning on doing this to my other car. My Mustang has a fake one too, but they look awesome, too bad it isn't a Mach 1 where it actually works! lolz
