I'm looking at putting a hoodscoop on my 240 but I've run into some problems. There are NONE that I can find in sheetmetal and I hate fiberglass, and 2 I can't seem to be able to decide on dimensions.
I love the RX-7 Turbo 2s and I think they are a similar body style to the 240 and the hoods are almost identical in shape. On the RX-7 hoods the scoop is not centered, but maybe a few inches offcenter. (

I'm pretty good with sheetmetal so I'm sure I can make something that looks very similar from steel and weld it on, but I want to hear other opinions on this. I think the scoop would look good, but thats just me. I'm also curious as to what dimensions everyone thinks would be good. I know I don't want it too high, maybe 2-2.5"s but I'm not sure how long or wide would look best.
Let me hear em, opinions, thoughts, ideas, flames.
