Should I hood pin my cf hood

However, you should run a supplemental latch. I like the Aerocatch system. Way cooler than hood pins.

I ask bc i have a friend say that if I don't there is a high chance the Ome latch won't hold and will pull out and hit my windshield

When I was looking to replace my damaged hood with a cf hood AeroCatch was the only thing I was even considering in addition to the oem stuff underneath.

Right - but we're past that.

The OEM hood latch won't fail. The latch in the CF hood might, though, and that would suck.
