hood not closed all the way

Ok I have the fiberglass eye lids and the stillen hood dampers. Whats goin on now is my hood doesnt seem to shut all the way anymore. I really noticed it today when i went thru the car wash popped my hood and water was all over my intake, engine and hid ballasts. What do you guys think it is?

Its a design flaw, it happens when you install them like they tell you too. I had them and I ended up giving them away for free because of that and the facts that they don't open smooth like other cars.

I installed mine the way you suggested and they work perfectly.

I dont have a problem with my stillen dampers. Did you try adjusting the hood with that little black round tab things. There is a tech article on it.

There you go that's the tech page. Pretty straight forward process to adjust the hood. Hopefully that will work.
