However, I'm confident its the foam on the intake. I had same problem and replaced the foam with a strip of 1/2" thick soft foam on top of a 1/2" thick strip of hard foam and problem solved. I used two strips because I didn't know how thick it was supposed to be and wanted the top foam to compress completely if need be.
thank you sir you are right on the money!!! i always wondered what the ugly black line of glue was for looks like mine has been gone for a while! i didnt know that the foam made such a huge difference!!!

i check my hood 2 times a day to make sure haha im always driving and well sometimes flying with the Q so i dont want any hood situations to occur to me last thing i want in my list!!! and again thx a bunch for evearyones support!!!!
