hood latch problem

i went to check out an s12 1985 200sx coupe but the owner told me the hood latch was broken and couldn't open.the cable seem loose or broken...it just need a starter to make it run..she want 600 for it..clean body no rust+ its dark blue too..same as my 240 coupe...so is there any way to open the hood??? ideas...

If it's like a S13 you can use a 10 or 12mm wrench and reach up into the front airdam and loosen the hood latch bolts to gain access to the bay.
