Hood is unalligned, its annoying me real bad.

I am a new 240 owner and just picked up a 1990 240sx fastback. anyways, everything seems but the hood jus doesnt seem to perfectly align with the fenders and front bumper. its driving my crazy. I tried messing around with the spacers but it wont work. would anyone know anything about these?

For the sides of the hood behind the light & by the fender, there should be a rubber spacer there, you just turn that counter-clockwise upward (if it is still even there) so that the hood will sit higher once closed.

As for the area behind the front bumper in the center, that looks more like the bumper needs realignment (may be warped, or may have been bolted up crooked, or you could have tweaked bumper support/radiator support) or the passenger side rubber spacer is too high.

It's oem, there aren't too many things other than what I mentioned if the hood itself is even.

I already messed around with the spacers. trying to raise them and/or lower them all the way. the spacers wasnt really much of a factor.

and im new, so what is a bumper/radiator support? any pictures?

It's the crash beam behind the bumper cover (what you see).

You can always try to add more rubber to the spacers - I know when mine sat a little low, I just got a universal one @ Kragen & it helped significantly - could just be old spacers.

It is a used car... did you bother checking to see if it was in an accident or ask the previous owner why it was like that?

Could be a number of things, But for the most part seems like the spacers are old/missing/too low.

only thing i can see wrong with the middle part is that maybe your headlight motor supports arent in there?? was this modded before?

when i had to put my front mount intercooler on i had to get rid of headlight support (your horns hang on to it)and my bumper looks drooped like that...
