ok guys, in the january issue of "modified mag" they advertise a set of hood dampers from endura-tech. their ad says that they help with carbon fiber hoods, to keep them from flopping around so much. thats the part that caught my attention. anyways, they look really nice, feature a gas-enclosed damper encased in a carbon fiber cylinder. the attachments which bolt onto the hood and onto the body have both been treated to prevent rusting as well. i logged onto the website only to find out that they are not made for our application! current applications include: integra, rsx, civic, s2000, rx7, rx8, xb, impreza, wrx, and forester. the average price is about $150/set. so...here's my question. im intersted in seeing if one of these will possibly fit the max, or if their is any interest in possibly emailing the company to see if we can request OUR application as well??

i know, to some of you this may be "overkill" but a little extra protection from flapping hoods (besides hood pins) couldnt hurt. anyone interested???

i think the hood locks are a great idea bro. a buddy of mine had those on his se-r and the were nice. no ugly pins sticking up and they came with a key. anything you can do to help keep that hood down would be a great addition no matter what anyone says. had a guy come into advance today with an EG hatch and the CF hoop flipped on him and it messed the hood, windshield, and roof up.
