so I put my hood on, and went to fix my hood relase cable(which has been broke since I've owned the car), and I close my hood, but it's like a quarter of an inch from closing completely. It dosen't latch all the way down, it goes past the spot where you use the release under the hood. but it won't lock down.I tried closing the hood, and pressing down where I thought it might be hitting, and it seems to be on the intake manifold, or the coldpipe coming off it.any suggestions?

Are you using KA motor mounts or CA motor mounts? The KA motor mounts make the CA motor sit up higher than it should and "untilt" the motor a bit.

I'm using nismo CA mounts, and I have the short one on the exhaust side.

adjust your hood. loosen the four bolts, not all the way though, just enough to where you can adjust the hood. Once you get it to shut properly, tighten the bolts. Just a suggestion.

could be the adjuster things, they are lil rubber pieces that screw in and out to adjust the hood, they are up by the radiator

I'm talking about the four bolts (two on each side) where you can take the hood off. Their up by the windshield.

it ended up being a combination of the hood bolts, and the latch position, I moved it down to mount my front mount, and didn't think about till later, but I got it now, I'm an idiot.
