1Gbps is ridiculous. It is the same setup Google plans on doing to a city of their choosing. As for Google and the US, it is an experiment but it is the real deal in Hong Kong.

For those who don't know how fast 1Gbps is:
- 25GB Blu-ray in 2min and 20 seconds
- 700 MB non-HD movie in about 3.28 seconds
- 5 MB song in 0.023 seconds

128-134 megabytes per second

Imagine the possibilities...
