I am pretty knowledgeable on wheels for the most part but is a 18x10 f/r almost too much? I am thinking of buying a winter set of xxr 521's 18x10 f/r with a 25+ offset.

What am I really getting myself into :(
I run a 18x9.5 f/r with a 295/35 on the rear
And a 245/40 on the front.
No rubbing at all except hardcore bumps.
little insight someone please!!!!

anyone???? ;(
thanks ahahaah :bigthumb:

you can run it, but chances are without fender modification or slightly wider fenders it will rub... also, chances are high that a 10 inch wheel in the front with a +25 offset is going to sit ouside the fender. I've attempted a 9 inch wide wheel with a +15 offset and it sat a good inch give or take outside my fender-and my fenders were rolled.

Also, you want to run these for winter? I used to live in Minnesota... you absolutly do NOT want to run that wide of a wheel in the winter, you won't get any traction-thats why the geo metro's and old civics so many people have as winter beaters-you want to cut through the slush/snow. I've never been to NC so i don't know how much snow you guys get, but i would advise against this purchase for fitment issues along with the fact your not going to get any traction in anything but dry weather.

2nd

10" wide at +25mm will not fit up front. And will require a pull in the rear.

18x9 fits in all four corners at +35mm off set without issues, if you want a square set up.

well I kinda realized all of these factors, after I posted this. I need to put beefy tires on my stockies and roll em around. Rather than buying something that will probably look absolutely stupid. I have a 9.5 with a 35+ offset up front and its almost flush. Idk i was trying to trade my raze's for a set of volk ce28n's and resell em. But the guy is finally figuring out maybe his wheels are worth alot more than expected ;D ahahahah
AH Well thanks anyways guys I really appreciate the info.
:)
