Now, I know I will probably get flamed, but, I was searching around all of the Japanese sights and found this, the Honda NSX-R. Now, I saw this in SCC about a year ago, but this is the final product I guess, I didnt translate the site, but im sure you could tell what they mean by the pictures. Tell me what you all think.

Honda NSX-R

I love it personally and think it would be really tight if sopmeone bought the acura nsx and put a whole lotta jdm stuff in to it, i think that would be pretty unique.

yea, it's still RWD so how can we complain about that..... anybody with a 240sx who knocks a mid engine semi-exotic needs to have their head examined.

Don't even get me started on the engine specs!

Jaeger...because it's an Acura, lol...aka, Landlord, unlike Honda which is the peasant. LOL. I heard or read in SCC mag about the new 3.5 engine V8 NSX's and it produce somewhere around 330 HP Vtec. I don't know when it will come out but I think it's nice because it's moving to the V8, instead of the V6.

Honda NSX is in japan i think, but the U.S has their own version so they put NSX into Acura since Acura needs a sport car, instead of those accords, you know what I'm saying?

Acura is Hondas line of luxury vehicles, Acura, is only sold in the U.S., of course, almost everything we get from japan has either been detuned, different engine entirely, or, they have done something to the body to make it diffirent than the one in japan. I, and most of you guys, probably have the same love/hate relationship with japan that i do. Oh, the reason i said i might get flamed is that there are some crack heads on here that totally denounce honda in every way. The reason why honda has a seperate line of luxury vehicles, is because honda doesnt think they have really made a name for themselves here as an all around kind of company, as in, they really have made a name for carrying luxury and sport compacts all in the same company. The same probably goes for Toyota, and Nissan.

Go to http://www.honda.co.jp , also go to http://www.nissan.co.jp , the nissan site can be translated to english. Check out the Accord Euro-R, which, in case you didnt know already, the accord in japan is the USDM Acura TL here.

When I was in Japan, I saw a Honda Saber which was the jdm versin of the TL. Acura is an American only company, like Lexus is to Toyota. I think Honda actually has a different version of the new Accord for USDM, JDM, and EDM (Europe), but I'm probably wrong on that, I don't pay attention to Hondas.

The NSX-R was also voted as Evo magazine's car of the year for 2002 beating out the Porsche 911 Carrera 4s, Ferrari 575M, Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG, among others.

Here's a quote from the article...

"Far and away the greatest driver's cars of 2002 are the C4S and NSX-R. Many of us spent ages agonising over scoring the two cars, and in the end there was just 0.6 of a percentage point in it. Simple fact: the purest driver's car won.

The irony, say Vivian is that the NSX started life as the most contrived, compromised supercar - for all the right reason - and it's been turned into the hardest, purest, most involving there is."

"And then you drive it, and the whole thing feels so at one, so absorbing that you just want to keep going until you meet the horizon."

and here's a link to a text version of part of the article..

i think that the nsx is probably one of the better looking cars IMO, but i think that honda/acura has let it sit unchanged for too long290hp was good 5 years ago, but it's alot behind the timesneeds to be changed, or they could just add a turbo model (just a thought)
