Should've converted it to AWD with a rb26dett then done an s15 swap and thrown some Prelude tails on it. that would've been uber tyte.

im not making this statement just some food for thought and something about a throwing stones from a glass house and all that, lol. We are all Import tuner owners and modders. this Holier than thou stuff is silly from anybody.
There's a saying that goes "Don't throw stones in a glass house." Okay. How about "Nobody should throw stones." That's crappy behavior. My policy is: "No stone throwing regardless of housing situation." Don't do it. There is one exception though... If you're trapped in a glass house, and you have a stone, then throw it. What are you, an idiot? So maybe it's "Only people in glass houses should throw stones, provided they are trapped in said house."

but let me just say...

All motor 200whp > boosted 200whp

so unless the guy's planning on going over 300whp or something on a larger boost set up... I would have just gone with a K20 swap like every other fan boy, lol.
this.

he just wanted to do something different...hell, it surely wasn't for the aftermarket support....

you can get close to 300whp na of a K24 but it's not really streetable...

Interesting swap. Problem with getting upgraded Honda motors is you never really know what is stolen or not unless you pull it yourself.
Thats true. Hondas are way too easy to steal. If you don't have a garage don't own a honda.

I love all the internet-geniuses correcting each other with slightly different incorrect info in the Civic thread.
OriginalWheelman wrote:From what my friend was telling me, it's fairly easy to put an SR20 into anything. I think there is a Saturn SC2 running around with one.

*EDIT*http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJlAppuG0AI
Fortunately, that's an SL, not an SC (the 2 simply denotes the DOHC engine option, 1 meant SOHC). If it was an SC I'd have to go off an a "what a waste of a motor" and "top-10 ugliest cars ever" rant. SC is capital Fugly.

pretty sweet. I don't really like EGs tho. Like earlier and later models better. an EM1 with this swap would make me happy.

The AVERAGE Honda guy is no more of a bonehead than the average 240 person. Both "sides" have their standout morons.

I love cross-OEM swaps (just to make Jerry mad, LOL), but I don't know why I'd ever do this. The easy-to-swap Honda engines are just too good and too simple to install.

I want an H22A RA1 Odyssey with a 6MT....

Agreed, but I daresay that Honda has a little more animosity towards Nissan, or really any other imprt for that matter.

As is evidence in that forum.

so what? You really have never seen "omg honda threads" here? How about the fact that even after you agree that honda kids and nissan kids can be pretty dumb you STILL have to add in the fact that the honda ones are worse.

finally after months of dealing with some rear differential issues we got the car running using a subaru r180 diff from a wrx, but it wouldnt rev past 2500 rpm, so gave AEM a call and they send us their new AEM CAS wheel for FWD SR20s,60 problem solved, then a couple or hours of street tuning and got a chance to try the car at the local track, run 12.9 with a 1.7s 60foot , some wheel spin due to s*** street tires, stock t28 at 12 psi

I like all the ish talking about the SR20 haha, so unnecessary. Both honda and nissan have their good points, and I'd definitely enjoy driving a clean swapped civic as much as a 240. That being said, this swap is boss. :bigthumb:

I'd take a F20/22c powered S chassis...

Civic guys are just mad because Nissan guys don't waste time doing H or B swaps in their 240s, they use S2000 engines...

looking at the datalogs from the aem ECU we discovered that the throtle plate was only 75% open (gas pedal to the floor) boost dropped 2 psi at high rpm because of that, we fixed the throtle cable and now we are hoping to see mid 12s next time we go to the track.
anybody knows of a good shop to get custom axles made?

planning on staying on the 11.5 index class for the rest of the season.
but with some dyno time and 21 pounds of boost the car will do a lot better.
