im gonna try this tomorow if i have time after fixiing my brake squeeling (attempt number 8 at fixing it..) and changing that lil pillow dealie under my transmission

but yeah its ghetto and cost the guy like 2$ plus paint but apparently made a diff

Nice to know, but i don't want to "ghetto up my car" with cheap mods. I'll spend some money and get a real strut bar, but thanks for the link.

I'm sure someone will put that to good use!

something like that will tear up after a week or so. that's why you normally can't buy the cheap strut bars.

Cheap strut bars can be identified by the thin metal at the ends and the "horseshoe" shaped ends that bolt to the tower. Really just a waste of $$$.

The Neuspeed type bar, on the other hand, acts as a structural member (hehehe I said "member") and stiffens the towers significantly. There may be others that are sufficiently solid to make a difference.

im not sayin it'll be goodim sayin im ****ing bored because my boss doesn't have anythign for me to do right now nad i have to keep myself occupied or else ill go nutsthis'll kill at least 3 hours and who knows, it might work good?

Actually, I just went and read your link. Pretty funny stuff, and other than the 2 10degree bends, it looks like it'd be a structurally sound idea.

Maybe using a heavier gauge pipe, and taking the pipe to an exhaust shop for the 10degree bends would make it even more useful.

didn't haev time to do it today ill do it tomroow morningim not gonna use 2 10 degree bends thoughill make one larger bendi was actually thinkin that the 2 bends would the be akilee's(sp?) heel
