im getting kinda tired of the weak azz t25 and want to turn it into a t28. is this possible. i want this comfirmed because ive searched like the whole internet and cant find definite answers. i want this upgrade till i have enough money for my 2871r and i think this is the cheapest route.

what i was planning on was swaping the compressor, wheel and back plate from a z31 t3 onto my t25...possible correct. z31 turbos are .60 a/r, 60mm, 60 trim? or are they the .42 a/r's with a lower trim wheel. r25 and 20's use t3's too right, whats the a/r and trim on those turbos.

if this is possible i think i wouldnt boost past 14psi due to the small turbine side but will be able to get past 250 rwhp maybe to 270? this sound about right. again ive done extensive searching and found some but not definite answers.

yup its definitely possible. I was actually searching the samething last night. Try googling ybrid t25 t28 and its one of the sr20forum post. It tells you how to do it.

But personally, Id just put in a T28 since you need to get that turbo to do the hybrid work.

i read that post and all he did was mill the stock compressor housing for the larger t3 wheel. what i wanna know is can u swap the t3 compressor housing too along with wheel and back plate and this is where i find now answers.

why just buy a t28?...because i can get a z31 t3 from a junkyard for $100.
