Anyone know which HomeLink security version (3.0 or 4.0) came with my 2010 build M37? Got tired of not having an operable garage door opener, but don't want to buy a new one and not be able to sync it with my mirror buttons.

I found it. Looks like version 3 on 2011's. Too bad.

You need a homelink repeater. What kind/brand of garage door opener do you have? I do this for a living, garage doors,fireplaces, wire shelving, Fiberglas insulation.

Yes, I know there's a repeater, however I was going to buy (don't have it yet) one with a battery backup (whisper drive by chamberline) and looks like this feature is lost since repeater will relay on the wall plate for power. I also don't think I should have to be paying for another gizmo after spending several hundred on an opener...just rubs me the wrong way.
Do you know if there are openers on the market that still utilize ver 3 of homelink?
