I want to improve the suspension of my S13 but need to be "streeteable"

so first buy this on ebay.... and installed on the car

Don't like at all, too hard to the streets of my city so talk to my Dad and he give me
an alternative solution: convert this into SPC Caster Rod style

First need to cut the oem rod at 11cm aprox to allow hold the piece on the Lathe

Then balance the part to position at the center of lathe

Need to lower the stick from 20mm (Oem piece) to aprox 17,80mm

The lathe made his job...

In the front of the rod is suggested lower slightly more (17mm or 16,50 mm)
to allow the next tool insert correctly

The size of the thread is 18x1.5 metric and then can cut the rod threaded
to 8 cm long or less if you need

The red regulator with the oem bushing is too large so need to cut the regulator rod at 11,5 mm
or you can put next to the oem rod (BEFORE YOU CUT IT) to make sure you measure right.

The finish product

The stick needs to be at 32,50cm from edge to bushing (similar to the oem)

Then you can sell the race type bushing ( the large of the stick thread is 4,7cm)

Salute !

Awesome job!

Curious though. The cone shaped spacers (misalignment spacers). What are their dimensions? I'm curious on their outer diameter where they insert into the rod end and their overall length (they're combined lengths should come close to the width of the mounting bracket).

If you're looking for a slightly stiffer bushing as the factory silicon bushings will eventually fail, Nismo and Megan Racing have a press in hard rubber bushing that replaces the old factory bushings.

Thanks you, if i undestand correctly you need the sizes of the red piece right ?
Exterior diameter and long ?

They' re placed in the car now cause align the car today, but anyway I can measure them still.

Now the new problem it's in the rear suspension, cause it's too negative camber and the guy
who do the job show me in the aligner machine that the bolt to correct the camber is full register.
So this time i think need to get the SPC arms or any other that you guys recomend for street use,
NOT SOLID BUSHINGS !

No. The misalignment spacers go in the rod end that you didn't use.
