I was looking around and i stumbled across this DIY from another forum. Cheap mod, looks decent and it protects ur bumper Here are the results. And here is what i used to make this thing (from home depot)that and some 3M double sided tape and u are on ur way. Enjoy or hate do what ever u please...but i like it! The only thing tho, it makes the "lip" go a little uneven on the front because the bumper goes up a little bit so it's not all at the same level.

well i drove on the freeway earlier and the thing is still holding, i was going maybe 80mph or so. you just have to make sure you clean both surfaces with some rubbing alcohol before you apply the tape, so that they bond really good. Some one suggested to add screws but i didnt find it necessary.

Looks good. Instead of screws, get a few pop rivets and call it good.

Last thing I did was paint grill black. Got HFC in the mail coming monday. Then going for Fast Intentions Cat-back. Looking into a grounding kit was going to call about it later but don't know how much it will do on a 6MT. Still seeing whats coming out, wish they would hurry. Was thinking about lambo doors too

I actually had Gotham Industries knock on my door saying Bruce Wayne was interested in my car, for what reason i don't know

But chonmoreno is allowed to put garage door weather stripping on?

Hopefully Johnparkyourcar's CF lip will be finished in 2 weeks, then you guys can tell me if you want one.

I might even go so far as to get them prepainted (VIN matched) if you don't want the CF look.

Thats correct buddy, lambo doors are useless...this "lip" or bumper protector made out of garage door weather stripping is mostly for protection geez.

I'm not picking on you, more so teasing Sean for his opinion.

What are you protecting?

The factory chin lip spoiler if for down force and/or drag.

I have the same problem with my driveway...slight slope and it alway hits the air dam. Sounds like I'm about to take the front bumper off. Glad that worked for you!!

It's ok... I'm used to you me.

I just find lambo doors too "ricer" for my taste, pointless and a waste of hard earned $$$.

But that's just my opinion..

Lambo doors are only cool, .... on a Lamborghini...

Or a Miata, since Miata's are already the gheyzorz.
