PMQ: Firstly, you made the following statement:
"So, because you draw the line at a certain point we all have to tolerate you insufferable complaining!"
I have good news for you, You don't have to suffer through anything, you are free to leave this forum at anytime. In fact, I would really recommend it as I am beginning to become concerned about your blood pressure.
Secondly, There is nothing "self-righteous" about my comments. I have simply stated the facts that some, yourself included, are not voicing an opinion on the subject matter but instead are insulting those that have expressed their dislike for the commercial. Therefore, in this forum, your statements are not relevant to the topic and do not contribute anything positive to the discussion. I am not telling others to believe or feel as I do. In fact, I have welcomed others who like the commercial to tell us what they do like about it and express their opinions about the commercial. I do not, however, wish to hear your or anyone else's opinion about an individual that has posted here. As you are clearly not qualified to do so.
Thirdly, You erroneously make the statement that I somehow think detergent is deceitful. What I said was, the commercial promoted deceitful behavior, which I felt was beneath the standards of a family company such as this.
Lastly, No one missed the "point" of the commercial. Our contention was with the method of delivery. And to remove a stain is NOT the act of hiding or deceiving others into believing anything is perfect. Removing a stain is to fix or save an item of clothing (in this case) that you want to keep (as opposed to throwing it out) To make the statement that people remove stains to deceive others (with malice) is fallible at every level.
Self-righteous is the mistaken belief that you do no wrong; righteousness is promoting and striving to attain good moral behavior and doing what is right. For future reference, the two words are NOT interchangeable
My response
Wow Tina, you pulled out the dictionary for that one. You still don't realize whats going on here do you? You have attacked our spokesman for lies and deceit. You have attacked the evil corporation that is trying to underhandedly corrupt the youth of this nation. You have discovered our secret plan. now say hello to the laser sharks Tina Bond.

Since you all now know too much, you will all have to be taken care of! Proctor&Gamble will not stand for this insolence, we will rule the world, and you will become our slaves. You will be forced to live in a home and watch children, you will also have to do the cooking and cleaning. Only this time, we get to have the headache!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
