Check out the GTR-700. Especially the videos. This car just ran a pass of 8.96@160 mph in the 1/4. It is a streetable car. The car reportedly makes (estimated) over 1 MW of power to the ground (that's 1340 hp). It's running 4 bars of boost (59 psi). So yeah......nutty. That's about all I can begin to say to describe it. And I like the way it looks nearly stock on the outside, except for the drag parachute and fin.

Also, if you guys haven't seen, they added some videos today. They got videos now of the new 8 second passes. The car is pulling 1.35 60' times.

I've talked in length with Mario, he's the owner. He's pretty much one of the smartest mechanics that I know. We talked about physics and such. Things I wanted to know about taking the motor to such high rpms.

I'm going to place bets on Mario having the record over Veilside here soon.
