-sunday i did a lot of maintenance.

i.e. -lower the front springs, Change to 15/50w full synthetic, fix the oil leak from the oil pressure sender, change from stock bov to hks ssqv.

I'm coming home from work today and a lil honda civic si lowered that had a b18c pulls up on me. We chat about the engines for a sec and we agreed to pull from 3rd gear.

i had an empty car he had 3 people in his. So we both drop.

I hit it for all she's worth. then go to 4th. then 5th. watchin the tach.

I look back and i was about at least more than a half mile to 3/4 of a mile down the road.

Gentlemen i'd like to thank everyone here for the knowledge and support that has been provided from this forum. I started here and it has kept me going on the project. Tonight was the worth of the swap and the heart ache and pain. It showed me that i believed soo hard in this swap and how happy it would make me. I am soo ecstatic currently.

Anyhow, just wanted to share my feelings this evening. I feel soo powerful right now.

By the way gents she's all stock except for the BOV and apexi hybrid fmic!

Good slap in the face to the honda guy! My friend had a B18C in his honda and we'd race back when i had my KA in the car and i beat him every time.

Now its just not even a contest, i pull him starting from 5th gear when he's in third. He'll pull me about a half a car then i rip him a new one right back.

I also raced my friends SC400 him getting the jump on me and i took him too, it was pretty close up untill i started shifting past 6k and got into 5th then i got away from him, but yeah, i'd have to say the same thing as you man, i've gotten alot of help from this forum and its helped me out alot. Thanks to Kamin, Carl, Integra7, Yellow 4g63 for the tips.

I also like to state that now since i've got my RB done and have for a few months now i notice every time i go out to look for some wins, i never find anything out worth racing and then the times i DO they take off before i do so i ussually have to reel them back in.

Then when i get the Xterra or the 91 hardbody pickup RICERS AND DOMESTIC TARGETS EVERYWHERE! its annoying!!!

gentlemen the point is that i finally unleashed the potential of the engine last night. That was the very 1st time i even attempted to go all out on an rb engine. So, reguardless of turbo non turbo 3 or 4 people it was the 1st time that i competed against another vehicle and let the skyline do all the talking! nuff said.

yeah guys wtf, be happy for the guy. Personally I love the feeling of thinking, "oh god I cant do it" then realizing or after completion that you can do it.

PS if the B18 was modded it was a more then fair race, those little go karts can move.

Good job on the car I know you went through a lot to get here, go splurge on a full tank and go have fun man, go have fun...

I envy you so bad right now...I was going to be able to drive my car yesterday once I installed the driveshaft. Now with the leaking head gasket, I'm probably out another month. Have fun with the car man, you deserve it!

No... not really... Integra with a B18C w/headers exhuast plus intake, vs my ka with Intake, Headers, VLSD, and mild custom exhuast to a stock muffler I'd win every time unless he got the jump on me, then i'd pull him back.

should be the other way around. you should get the jump on him, but he should walk on by you every time. sounds fishy. whatever. im not here to argue about past races.

i don't street race anymore so i would say the top best things were the 15 feet of dual stripes I left in my drive way (after I finally got an LSD and could do that) and a 30 mph corner at 95 mph. Grip is fun, and so is the ability to lose grip whenever you want.

Congrats Kuillin_Drifter! I know this has been a up hill battle for you and it is about time you get to enjoy it.

hey KUILLIN_DRIFTER and NISMO_RB25, Do you think that I could take a look at ya'lls cars? I'm saving my money for an RB25 swap into my '90 S13. I would LOVE to talk to you two and go for a ride or something. Give me the low down on the problems you've both encountered and such. My AIM is fattymcbaggins, so hit me up!

Wow someone thanked me : I'm glad I could help now get rid of that stock turbo and go for the gold! Kill a few Supras and Slobra's.
