Yeah, just send me $1,000.00 to my PayPal account, and I will send you a nice letter saying thanks...
I have not been burned on eBay, yet. Of course, I have bought crap, based on pictures and descriptions and wished I didn't, but no fraud, so far.
The messages section of eBay is the only way to communicate. People get your email and other information off the internet all the time. I send these fraudulent emails to the
[email protected] email address all the time. It lets eBay know that these people are out there, and still trying to rip people off.
The old money order trick has been going around ever since Western Union was formed. Ebay just makes it easier to dupe people.
I don't blame eBay. It is just people taking advantage of the freedom to rip people off. That is one of the great things about this country. We have free enterprise. What people don't realize is that freedom is not free, and it is not a right, but a privelidge that can be taken away.
We don't need more regulations, we need more accountability, more responsibility, more integrity, and more honesty.
None of these can be regulated or forced on people. They must be freely given and received. Many of us are taught it at an early age, others learn it as they grow up. Some learn it the hard way, and others just don't ever get it.
Now, back to your regularly scheduled program...
