I seen that the other day and now I know why I don't ride peoples butts. One time in the morning hours in Atlanta, I got over, and hit something in the middle of the road. Blew my tire out and 8 cars behind me hit it. All pulled over as well.

I only have 2 questions about this video...

1. Why was this person filming?
2. Why was my reaction more vocal watching this video than the person that it happened to?

Cause you knew you weren't dead, and he seemed to be filming the flatbed.

Similar thing happened to my old Maxima years and years ago when it was still my dad's DD and I was just a kid. We had all 5 seats full and were headed down the freeway behind a semi. The rear set of duals on the trailer had a football-sized chunk of concrete stuck between the tires. It came loose and embedded itself in the center of the Maxima's windshield. The windshield actually caught the rock, and stopped it. My brother was in a carseat in the middle rear seat, and the rock would have gone right through his head if it hadn't been stopped.

I was in the back seat when it happened, reading a magazine and not looking up. I heard my parents gasp/swear and then there was a crunching boom noise, and the whole cabin filled with dust. Since we had just left home, we just turned around and drove it back like that.

Wow. It's also odd that the driver appeared to be operating the video camera while driving when it happened.

Agreed with those who wondered why the filming was going on in the first place. Seems too much of a coincidence, right or wrong.

I emailed the lady who posted the video asking her why she was filming. I'll post her answer if she ever does answer.

Don't know how reliable this is, but I read she was filming because she thought one, or both of the trucks in front were driving recklessly and wanted evidence.

I had a 80mph tire hit the hood of my moms car when I was a kid. I was in the front seat and actually put my hands and knees up bracing myself before it hit. If we were less than half a second earlier... right through the windshield it wouldve gone.
