When I worked at the dealership, we had a white Track model w/ the bronze Nismo wheels. It was teh hawt. Of course, when you told ppl they had to add $2K onto the sticker price b/c of the wheels, their next question was always "Well, can y'all put the other ones back on?"

Why the hell would you buy those horribly expensive average looking wheels?

There are two piece rims that cost less than that...

aren't those wheels oemed by volk/rays?

and they are light weight, from my understanding light weight name brand wheels in those size generally cost around that much

lol... this is why I stay away from 'NISMO' parts... 75% of what you're paying for is the name.. not saying theyre bad parts, but they arent best bang for the buck at all. You could get some nice wide Volks or something for that price and have money left.

You Save: $67.65 (per discount vs. MSRP)I think my 16x7.5s cost me that much per wheel!

dude, those rims are only available here for 350z

other fitments, like 18x10 +22 are a 6+ month wait

they also come in 4 lug

either way, they're forged by rays. it's a light, quality rim, but it's freaking EXPENSIVE

Really?! I've never heard of that. I sure hope so though because I need new floormats, and that weird hump the drivers mat has to go over has rendered others mats crap.

These ARE Volks, for all intensive purposes. It's the exact same manufacturing process.

There's a guy with a black Z32 around here with one of the 100 sets of official black LM-GT4's. I can't imagine what he paid for them.

This is a normal price for a good forged wheel. If anyone's getting good forged wheels, especially 18s, for less than $500/rim, that's not the norm.

I know you are "the" rim guy, but its not worth it for one piece rims. One medium hit on some curb somewhere and goodbye $500 more.

How the hell did I become the rim guy?

I mean, TE37s cost about what those rims do, same with forged Work Emotions, etc...

Just because it's not necessarily practical for usage on all streets doesn't make the rims overly expensive, they are what they are.
