Might want to cut and separe the ports a bit so when the manifold expands it wont crack.

says it has a lifetime warranty against cracks, I think I am just gonna go ahead and custom order one with a T3 flange and see how it goes, they emailed me and said that they fitted it only to two vehicles

Hmmmm, that looks like it would even fit well on a FWD application. Be interesting to see how much it goes for. Anyone have price for a direct order?

I just emailed them about a group buy... told them there were quite afew interested CA guys on here, and wanted to know if they'd consider it. I also asked about the possibilty of different flanges being available and whatnot...

checking out their website, they charge $300 for the SR manifolds, so I'd say thats what they'll want for one of these (out of auction). I'll let you guys know what I hear back from them:)

It looks pretty nice. The only thing I noticed is that it isn't really an equal length mani. 3&4 are equal, but 1&2 aren't. And I shouldn't say that, they all look equal except #2. It has a shorter path than #1 does. See how they combined 1&2 and 3&4 together? It's kinda like a 4-2-1 kinda thing. Anyway, I thought I'd point that out...

waste of time sweating that equal length stuff for a street turbo header. I'd go for a manifold with no sharp 90°, or any 180° bends and definitely none where flow from runners collide dead on. Merging all runner flow to a collector seems ideal for spool and topend.Ever see the exhaust manifolds on a Buick GN ? U get face-distorting torque as soon as u mash it - their header is far from equal length.

KA guys have been hacking the ssauto SR header flanges off, and boosting on 'em. One KA guy bought a used cracked one for $100, hacked it and couldn't be happier..... guess these guys didn't feel like waiting for ssauto to 'serve' them. hehehe

ryan you are correct, and they don't call it an equal length manifold if you notice the auction title ;)

the SR manifold on the other hand is called "equal lenght manifold" whereas the CA one is just "race manifold":)

they make a KA one too but its alot more expensive than the SR one!

Equal length manifold makes a diffrence though. My friend with a KA-T has gone thru 3 manifolds and the one he has now is a tubular equal length and he said he noticed a big diffrence with spool up time and top end.

tubular manifold and forged pistons group buys seem like something quite afew people have mentioned! we need to get organized on this to possibly save ourselves some money:)

I'd be interrested in a manifold for around $300, it sounds like a good idea.

well it's "nice" but i think they should have used the SR version and just made the flange different, thats what mine is, its jsut a duplicate of the SR SS autochrome (OBX) manifold with a CA flange..

and also the SR20DET ones go for $150 ....

CA18 turbo mani ~

SR20 turbo mani ~10.75 runners (very close to equal lenght)
