ok so I pulled my plugs tonight after moving to a colder range plug(ngk bkr7e) gapped .8mm and they are FN white! i mean like ive been in the fires of hades white... something is causing it to run lean... let me say that tommorrow when i get off work im getting a fuel pressure gauge and checking the fuel pressure.. this whole madness started by raising the boost... i got a boost controller and started rasing the boost and noticed it cutting out at .7 bar.... pulled the plugs and they were a little toasty looking. The plugs in it were a APP3924 so i went a step colder with the ngks however this didnt seem to fix the problem so i took the boost controller off and whent back to stock boost and drove this evening and it was still cutting out at high rpm... ok so things im going to try or have tried:

tommorrow checking fuel pressuretried retarding the timing at the CAS didnt helpgoing to reset the ECU and see what happens tonightchecked vacuum line at fpr for leaks and vacuumany help is appreciated as usual

not the leanes but the cutting out even when the boost is back to stock. U need a EGT gauge and a wideband A/F meter. http://www.zeitronix.com/ It's pretty damn cheap if don't get the display and just use a laptop to log with. OR if you must get the speak n spell wideband monitor.

get an adjustable FPR.right now your fuel pressure is all fked up and its putting fuel in to the motor in the wrong places in the rev band.i had this problem on my rb20 and i checked the fuel pressure.it was 44psi at idle and 56psi with the vac line off, way too rich for idle and it caused lean out underboost and high rpms.i got a nismo fpr and cranked it back to the 35/44 it was supposed to be and the car feels sooooo much better.

From what I've gathered.. a FPR is basically a must on these RB swaps if you want it to run right.
