You should post a dyno. I wanted to do the 248/232 swap but I read that the power drops after 5500 rpms or so.

Just curious how you removed your power steering, me and my friend looked at doin it but its more difficult then i thought. I figured that itd be a lot like my old civic where all i had to do was remove the belt. But not quite haha.

Power def gains notdrops lol.

And powersteering I don't plan on EVERY having it again so the way to remove was to unbolt the pump and remove all the hardlines and then drain the system =P

Steerings nice and smooth and nice and firm lol gives SO much feedback now. But parkinglots are a work out. You get used to it though after you build some muscle. It starts feeling like you have p/s again and your arms get bigger hahaha

Idles smooth like a brazilian waxing.
AHAHAHAHAHA OMG that's the funniest thing I heard in a while. I just had to quote it.

I just wonder how much harder mine would pull with 3"exhaust...

And IDK if your still looping but that shouldnt' happen. You must have had your mech timing off or a vac leak somewhere you forgot to reattach.

And ignition timing is just a "what feels best to you" power wise. But NEVER go above 25* your head gasket will explain why if you do. I've actually settled for 18* when I'm drifting to give the car a tad bit more mid band punch. I also get best 0-60 times that way for some reason. (more torque gain I guess)

i too have a ka24de that is way faster than normal. 248 hot cams swap, 370cc injectors supposably (they were in it when i bought it) sr20det MAF, HKS Hi power exhaust, injen intake, egr delete, carb canister delete,a/c delete, power steering delete, and electric fans. if you get to about 3000 rpms rolling then punch it will break the tires loose (245/45/17 toyo tires)
and then break loose in 2nd and pulls REALLLLLY hard compared to a stock ka24de. and its funny cause when the car warms up the car will idle like complete crap and try to die but once you get goin its awesome lol. Now the sr20det maf isnt supposed to work on dohc ka's but my buddy made it work somehow on accident lol i have a walbro 255 fuel pump for the car but i dont know if it already has one in it or not. this is my 6th s13 and the engine was already this way when i got it. so im slowly getting the kinks out of it like the idleing problem. had an injector leaking and i fixed it and the car ran even better (of course)

So do think with that set up you could run bigger injectors and somethlike a T35 turbo and still have the power?

Of course. It'd only make more obviously. You'd want a 248 exhaust cam and 3" exhaust also for a turbo aplication though.... 248/232 N/A and 248/248 turbo'd. And don't go above 18* timing with a turbo on stock compression or you risk detonation and headgasket failure.

My ultimate plan is for it to be turbo'd with a sr20 t3/t25 factory turbo and a fmic and wideband 02 sr20 injectors the whole 9 yards... but i'm kinda stuck with no job and no licence atm have been for a while. till i find a job on this freakin isolated mtn i'm screwed licence wise. It's all about the benjamins with this government.... :tisk:

My 240 hasn't been drivin in over a year and it still starts after 1 crank on the first turn everytime. I start it once a month or so.. I miss drivin my baby so bad.
