8300 rpm actually. More info and photos in SR RWD forum, wanted them to see as well.nametakennow wrote:Sadly, that power comes at 11 billion rpm.
Still, this DE+T proves that the SR is one hell of a motor.
420hp@6200rpm and 915hp@8100rpm, crazy...nametakennow wrote:8300 with the sort of turbo lag I'd expect out of a GT42 would take an awful long time.
I still thing a GT30 or 35 might yield a better 1/4 with a larger powerband, but again, this is cool.
LLLAAAAGGGGG!!! that's it, and when he finally hits max boost it probably spins like a MOFO. On a +60mph roll, that thing would BEAST!Logan76 wrote:That much hp and only 10's in the quarter, someones not hooking up
First test run on low boost, takes time to adjust and make everything work. Can´t say it´s bad, most guys wont hit a low 10 in a life time.Logan76 wrote:That much hp and only 10's in the quarter, someones not hooking up
hell of an engine! what is low boost? you posted it makes [email protected], is that right? 2.9 bar equals about 41-42psi, is that even possible? whats the compression ratio? also post a pic or two here plzSwedish Mike wrote:

I´ll report here this summer, very close to race season.
I think the GT42R is the perfect turbo for the SR20. That's what we run on our race car and it response very quickly. Going to a smaller turbo will make less power, so how can you expect the car to go quicker? Why are people so scared of big turbos?nametakennow wrote:8300 with the sort of turbo lag I'd expect out of a GT42 would take an awful long time.

I think he ran 18psi at the 10 sec run.The Madtech S14 boosted 3.25 bar.200SX_SER wrote:
