I picked up this hobby over a year ago, mostly practicing with with mag pouches, flashlight holsters and other little things. I stopped for awhile because I was either busy with school, work, a prego wife or any number of things. I recently go back into and these are three holsters I've made since. The first one was just me playing around, trying to get back into the groove of leather working, the next two are copies of the Minotaur MTAC. I use to have an MTAC for my XD, I sold the pistol and the holster but have since picked up a nice G19 2gen and wanted a nice holster for it as well. It's kind of an expensive hobby to get into what with the materials and tools and all. I hope that if people like them I can start selling them on the side locally.

This is my first time messing with Kydex, the one on the left I tried to use a simple press without buying the expensive overpriced foam, it came out okay. The one on the right I used my wife's mom's foodsaver as a vacuum mold and it worked like a charm :dblthumb: This one features adjustable tension on the pistol and adjustable cant. I live in Florida so I'm a big fan of IWB, no way I can pull off a OWB in this heat.

not bad so far. practice makes perfect.

I wish I could make some of the "b movie rig" western holsters. My god they're more art than anything.

The price tag on something like that is absolutely shocking.

I've seen some double rigs priced in 5 figures

Thanks man, the first one, the all leather one, I didn't bother burnishing or casing the leather since I just wanted to get back into the swing of sewing leather. I'm light tan MTAC copy I made pictured above is what I currently wear, it's super comfortable and holds my G19 perfectly. As a safety precaution I'm not carrying with a chambered round until I've worn the holster for awhile, when I get home I check the trigger and all. I would do this even with a purchased holster but that's just me, I try to be big on gun safety
