Ok I got a holset HY35w or more specific HE351CW on the way. Now I'm going to need a turbo manifold. This is for a KA24DE DOHC.

My question what brand/type of manifold should I go with, and manifolds on ebay are they any good? My brother ordered a header to cat back, and pipes look very thin. That might cut it for a N/A car, but I'm skeptical for a turbo appl..

Should I go with a tubular or log style?

Dont have pics because its still in mail, actually I got 2 HE351CW's, other one was supposed to be a back-up. But my brother want's to buy it from me for his KLZE MX3

Got the KA24E in the car with 5spd, drove it hard first time since I got the car (with no brakes, just the e-brake). KA24E and 5spd , when I floor it it burns up the right tire like a modafake. Need to install my LSD soon and put the DOHC in.

I'm glad I got a 240sx, I but **** load of time and money into the car to get it running but it was well worth it so far.

This saturday I might get it painted or just do body work, nothing special just make it look good, pignose to chuki on a coupe.

THANKS

Before we start talking manifolds and boosting.

Let me ask you a question. Why not just boost the SOHC since it's already in there and you know it works?

I got the brakes done, just have to bleed it. Rear have new rotors and pads. Front had frozen calipers, changed it to a ABS/CHICAS brakes which have bigger pads and calipers and had to use the ABS caliper brackets.

I got a DOHC from 95 a while back, I would like to mod the DOHC and run SOHC in for now. Use the SOHC for parts or back-up motor. I'm not thinking about throwing away the SOHC like other people.

The DOHC isn't worth the swap. Use the JGS manifold for the KA24E and you'll be all set. Then you can buy a FMIC kit from EBay and you'll be left with fabbing a down pipe and the various other things that don't line up quite right.

Also, plan $1000 into the budget for things that get broken or forgot.

Wow, thanks for the info so JGS manifold, what about gladman for SOHC? I have a DOHC because I got it chap $180 complete with wiring/maf/ecm.

SOHC has about 166k miles one here. I there any fitment issues.Things I got so far:I have 4 top-fed injectors from 87 rx7 with TurboII 550cc for $0, just have to check if they work and impedance.

3x Z32 MAF's (need only 1) buy I got extra because of price just in case if I or someone needs one, but first it has to be verified as working.

Walbro fuel pump installed, because old one craped out.

Throw in a MIG welder to that, I'm not much good. But I try my best. Did exhaust for my bro, and welded on a flange for my exhaust that I got for $14 stock 240sx exhaust (really good shape). I had no exhaust when I got the car, so for now just this.

I'll get pictures of turbo when it comes in, if anyone is interested. It's a He351CW with elbow on compressor side. Turbine side is a Type-D, if you follow this link

http://www.holset.co.uk/files/...s.php

select turbo model from drop down box, you can download turbo service manual for free, for what ever model you select. You will have to unzip, and use Adobe Acrobat Reader to view manual. If you download Hy35w manual page 17 shows different variations.

Sorry for long post, and thanks for info.

*****p.s. Biggamehit what manifold are you running on your DE?******
