Holset is hardcore stuff. In good shape? Still stock WG port and actuator?

I´ve used both HX35 and 40, great turbo´s.

Ya its in good shape comes with an inter cooler, but i need to replace my headers, and get an exhaust while im at it, i also have to get a waste gate to keep at 10psi.Probably need to grab a BOV.

the actuator i'm not sure ill have to ask the guy i bought it from and check.

The reason for asking is that the HX35W´s I´ve seen have internal WG and way to small port for a gasoline engine.Without porting and new actuator it you´ll loose the boost control.

The regular HX35 is a straight turbo without WG.

Yeah, if it´s a regular HX35 you can use external WG like Tial, HKS, Turbonetics....

If it´s a internally gated you can plug it and go external or just open it up and use it.The good thing with the internal is that you got the WG in a good location from start and no extra holes in the manifold. With some love you can make the internal perform good enough for the turbo size.

Also ask if it got the #14 turbine housing, good spool up and T3 flange. You can see the number casted in the housing.

I hope you understand my crazy language..
