Hey Guys, i was lookin around and i found this map (as the title says)

i was looking to plugin a few engines such as

ca18sr20ka24RB20

each engine has a unique spot on that map and was wondering what would be best.

roughly 400 hp to maybe 600?

Now don't take this as a dream, just wanted to gather some info from you guys here.

now for the cause :P

and the linky to purchase this turbo is

http://www.citydiesel.net/dodg...32_34

AND Bob Barker would say

"Actual retail price is....."

LOLThx Guys.

well for a ka motor spinning to around 7k with a ve of 95% and a bsfc of .60.. you need roughly 500cfm to make 600 crank hp. and you need about 25psi of boost which is 2.6(tpl)

on that map as you can see its very close to the surge line, and you will need to rev the motor out. the lesser the rpms the less cfm the motor flows which moves the efficency closer to the surge line at that boost level.

that turbo is in its sweet spot around 16psi or so.

now for other motors it probably wont be so efficent (sr20/ca18) less displacement ect..

i dont really know if that made much sense, it does to me and its 8:44am here.. coffie didnt kick in yet....

Don't mind the haters Reno. Holset is non-JDM hotness. I'd say the best resource for Holset info around here is the KA-T forum. Although Ameen is using one for his VQ30DET build. It's gonna be an absolute beast...
