hey guys right now im running a holset h1c with a 18.5cm housing with one port blocked off . as you can imagine.... it lags. who would of guessed? it looks like the smallest one i can find is the 12cm housing. is there anything smaller? i would like to stay twinscroll, im not utilizing it at the moment but i plan to later down the road.

not a twinscroll, it says hx35 but im pretty sure it will bolt onto my h1c. right?

get the BEP T3 .70 ar single scroll. You will love it. The H1C has the same turbine wheel as the HX35 but it will spool even faster because it has a 8 blade 54mm compressor wheel instead of the 56mm. An 18cm2 housing is like a 1.20ar hot side and it won't work at all on a 4cyl smaller than 2.4L. I bet you gain 800-1000 rpm of spool in 3rd gear with the BEP housing. I have one on my HX40 and I love it.

From the link you gave to extremepsi..... http://www.extremepsi.com/store/product ... 758&page=1

Or you can contact BEP here.... http://www.bullseyepower.com/contactus.asp This is what I did and I got my housing in 3 days.

You need the HX35 t3 .70ar(same as the H1C). Are you using the holset on a sr20 or KA-T??

Keep the equal length, my log mani sucked and killed power. The guy I sold it to put a SLS tubular on it and a 3" DP and retuned with enthalpy and made 460whp and the best I ever made with the log mani was 411@24psi.....

Best deal on turbo blankets....

The turbo will lose 7-8lbs when you switch to the BEP turbine housing and you will gain alot of room...

3" DP
T3 .70ar BEP turbine housing
equal length mani
and about 25-28psi on race gas and it will trap 125+ in the 1/4....

well im finally about ready to purchase a smaller exhaust housing finally. im still town between the .70ar BEP and the 12cm twinscroll housing. for the .70ar i would have to weld on a 3inch flange and get a new vband clamp as well as make a bigger downpipe. the 12cm would be a direct bolt on, do you think the twinscroll would spool faster if i has a true twinscroll manifold?

No, the BEP housing has many benefits...

lighter
smaller(more room for BMC clearance)

besides a good twin scroll mani will cost twice what you have in your turbo....

BEP .70ar and a 3" vband and DP and forget it.
