So I just put in my ka-t and when I was cranking it over I noticed a huge puddle of oil coming out from between the engine and transmission. after pulling the transmission and flywheel off I thought it was the main seal. Then, after turning the motor over by hand I realized it was a random hole in my block. It's about the size of a dime and is located at about 2 o'clock from the main seal. I have no clue what this is, but I need to cap it.. I see the hole in the fsm but it doesn't say anything about it.

HELP!

i'm going thru the same problem that hole in my block was taped and a threaded plug was used and that hasnt work so i looked up at work what goes in that hole and its a tapered plug and its only 85 cents at ur local nissan dealer

here is the part number so u can go directly to ur local nissan parts dealer and ask for 1 or order 1

part number 11024-K0100 tapered plug

hope that helps.. i installed mine today with some sealant and just taped it in with a brass punch till it was flushed.. it will fit in only one way since one side is a tad smaller than the other

laters Carlos
