Hold inside Transmission? Next to spindle?

K well I originally thought that my rear main went on on me( Still going to replace it anyway) but I noticed a small hole next to the spindle in the transmission.



Now is that suppose to be there because it sure doesn't look like it is? And where can I get that cover at?e

Its NormalIts just a drain for water and crap that gets inside the shaft housing

ok. I wasnt sure cuz it sure doesnt look normal. Looks more like it broke off or something.
