I'm bored as hell and just finished working out so i thought i would post up another mindless one. What does everyone here do to pass time other than work on your car and post on nico. I'm a pretty avid basketball player, almost to an obsessive point.

Well, since my mom has been in the hospital the last few days all I do is worry constantly.

Usually, I work out 4-5 days a week, and work on cars......oh yeah, hang out with my Girlfriend and friends too, thats about it....

I ride my crotch rocket, if anybody still calls them that. A few of my old buddies gather and do some inter-city blasts, trying to maintain a safe speed, mature riding demeanor, and not upset our fellow motorists. We do well...about 4 years of doing this, no crashes, no seriously dangerous encounters with animals, etc.

Also ride the occasional CR125 dirtbike, or 400ex quad. Sometimes a few of the guys gather and we hit the mud trails in the 4x4's and 4wheel drive atv's. A few beers sessions here and there.

Former_240, man that sucks. I feel your pain, as my dad is 72 and his health has been slowly slipping. He's made several trips to the hospital in the last few months, but lately his condition seems to be stabilizing somewhat. It's still almost unbearable to see a loved one suffer. I guess the only thing we can really do is let them know we love them and thank them for everything they've sacrificed and done for us.

X-BOX. Play Halo, Splinter Cell, Max Pain, and any other game that is worth a crap and has a lot of shooting involved.

I use to ride my Motorcycle, but some nice old lady ended that for me, rather abruptly.

Former_240, i also regret hearing of your mothers illness. I hope she gets well quickly.

SmithSR, Also sorry to hear about your father. Maybe things will turn around for him. I will keep you guys in my prayers.

JESTER, thanks for the kind words.

BTW, have you played HITMAN 2 ?? I love that game. Kind of similar to splinter cell, in that stealth is better than gun blazin...but not quite on the same level as Splinter Cell(with the use of shadows so often used in S.C.). All in all, I'd say Hitman2 is an excellent game that you can sneak around, ninja style, or just start blastin everything and everybody in sight. Lots of cool little things in the game like taking other people's clothes and walk around in disguise, fiber wire to choke people out with(without setting off metal detectors), a bunch of different ways to kill people, knock people out with chloroform(sp?), cool stuff like that...

SmithSR,Not played it yet. But been thinking about it.Heck, I have to get the XBOX outta pawn. This stupid motorcycle wreck is costing me big time. I had to pawn the XBOX, my .38 Ruger, and my P95 9mm. But this pay day will straighten my bills back out, finally. Have to get the .38 and my box back out.

Played Brute Force, up at my friends about two weeks ago. It is pretty cool.

Yo Instant,The Xbox is worth buying just for Halo. Or if you have a good PC set up for major gaming, you should really pick it up, if you are into the shooter type games.

When I get my finances back situated, I'm planning on getting a PS2, just hadn't got that far yet. They have way too many games to not get one. I am just sitting here waiting with the Xbox on stuff to come out. That the only draw back.

I've got a nitro powered RC car that I screw with when I'm bored. It does sweet dognuts and burnouts but I haven't quite figured out how to drift it yet. It's also great for racing speeders on my street.

Writing a novel, which is more like a second job than a hobby.

Occasionally, for fun, I overthrow a tumultous Third World country with my army of Groucho Marx clones, and appoint myself Dictator-For-Life...then I get bored after a few days and go home.

What the hell is a hobby?

I work full time and travel statewide quite a bit, I'm attending school (working on my Masters), I'm the president of our Block Watch Association, vice-president of our Pop Warner Football Association, I run a small side-business (proofreading and copy editing), I'm currently working on some home renovations, I lead the Security team at our church and work the Sunday night service, and all three kids are in sports and activities.

Oh yeah - And every once in a while I spend some time with administration of the NICO site. :D

If a "hobby" is defined as what one does to unwind (or for fun), I guess my hobbies are eating, sleeping and having sex. :)

your my personal hero. I was hoping that i would be warming the bench for UGA next year, but since they are getting the NCAA version of an anal probe im just going to give up competitive Basketball, gonna play just as a hobbie by hobbie i mean obsession. Like i can break down a show in the same way a nike technician does (I've picked my basketball teams "team shoe" since like 7th grade). and oddly enough i used to play starcraft NON-STOP. I have 2 friends that are professionals that go to korea and stuff (hey ladies look out).
