As you might have noticed, my SN is RYNO. My gloves have a Rynohead silkscreened across the knuckles, and my robe and trunks have the same Rynohead embroidered on them. I was approached Friday by a guy offering to make a lasercut vinyl logo for the back window of the Rynomobile of the Rynohead. Since everyone has it in for cars with stickers, would you my esteemed associates consider this "rice"?

I'm talking about having a huge picture of a rhinoceros' head on the back of your car! It's like putting a picture of a donkey's head on.... its the same thing....

Keep the animal pictures off for now, in my opinion.

It's actually not animaltomically correct. I'ts a one color, stylized outline of a particularly angry Ryno. Slapping a realistic picture of a rhino on there would be rather ghey.

It would def. be something different, I would do it, if you WANT to. If it has a reason, then I would exclude it from being rice. Anyway's so many people have so many diff. interpretations of rice. Go for it if you want it.

I think he's asking if HE should do it...not you. ;)

Just making sure your not trying to steal his idea,Dave

By the way...ninjak84 - you're not in favor of having a donkey's head on the car?! Hmmm, I might have to paint over the hood of my car.

i wouldn't put a big sticker in the back window cause it would probably look tacky. But if it means something to you to have it on your car, I think a three or four inch sticker of the rhino on the b pillar glass would be cool. I don't think that would be rice because its original and not over the top. I think you plan on putting this on your car so its your call. I personally would not, but if I was going to thats where i would have it. Just my opinion.

Phew! Glad you corrected that pronoun mis-hap! RYNO might have gone, umm...ryno on your backside had you shown him any intention of putting the picture on your own car.

Man, some of you guys are crazier than I am. But let's see if I can answer all the questions asked. The reason for the Pokemon avatar is the boxing gleves that he's wearing. If anyone does decide to put this sticker on their car, keep in mind that the design has a copyright. Don't say I didn't wan you, but It's gonna cost. The reason behind putting the Logo on the car is kindof an advertising thing. Not just hey look I have a sticker. So, now that you have a bit more info, opinions?

I'd say a small one, in chrome mylar vinyl on the side rear windows would look kick-a$$.

I have a small and discrete AKKA (American Kenpo Karate Academy) decal and "blue line" (law enforcement) decal in the lower corners of my rear window - just to make my allegiances and intentions clear.:D

No more than 2" tall or 4" wide, keep the colors tame too. You should only be able to notice it from 2-3 carlengths away.

Where do you want to put it? I think top center of back window would be best.

That's a good rule to go by. I have a few stickers on the back side windows of my car (ones a NICO one!) and they fall into this catagory.

*bump* Damn it took me a long time to get back to this thread. Anyway, The logo is going to be 8x6, taller than wide, any smaller, and it looks like a blob. Car is black, so the sticker will either be black or the same dark gray as the interior. Bottom center of rear window. As soon as I get the laser cuts back, I'll post pics. I say go for it. It's like a tattoo; it has significance to you. It's not like all those non-Hondas you see with Type R stickers. Just don't let the posers rip off your design so every kid w/ a fart pipe and an APC sticker has one too.

Just do it dude,it will personalize your car.Besides it don't matter what others think, just do what you wanna do.If you always did what everyone else told you, then we would all be driving the same car, that looks just like everyone elses.

Hey I had a sticker on my back glass sort of what your talking about.I drew a pic of a JESTER and had it made so that it was a 1 of a kind.It went with my nickname.Quote »I say go for it. It's like a tattoo; it has significance to you. [/quote] I also Have a jester tatoo so it went with that too.I liked it for a long time but not too many others did and some people couldnt even tell what it was.Not that I cared but after about 4-6 months I took it off when I de badged my car for a clean look. Any way I say go for it,you can always crape it off.;)

BTW there is a pic of my jEzTeR sticker on the bottom of page 1 here===>sticker pic LOL Its BIG!

hey Ryno, i know your'e already having it done now, but i want to add that i don't think it will be ricey at all. just as long as you don't have 20 other stickers. (for me the limit 5 small ones)

i have a dragon's head that i designed and had a guy die-cut a vinyl decal for me, it's in the bottom center of my rear window, and in white, (my car is white too), i suppose it would have significance because i really love dragons (who knew huh?) and it also goes with my jdm vanity tag that reads 'Tiamat" (dragon from Babylonian mythology)
