I have a ka24de Stock bottom end, all emissions removed, no cat, FULL 3" exhaust, SR T25 Turbo, FMIC, 3" piping, HKS actuator, Blitz DD Bov, 550cc injectors, I hope to run about 12-13psi, the turbo has no play. umm..idk what else you guys need to know, stage 3 spec clutch, it hasn't been build yet but I have all the parts. lol last thing is a tune, I'm aiming for a jw tune, because i can't tune myself and no shops around here that do..

So what do you guys think? I was hopeing to atleast attain 250whp? I plan on upgrading the turbo down the line with a GT3071R so i can keep it bottom mount.

I can tell you right now your going to pass 250. Not sure what numbers you will get thought because a T25 is way to small of a turbo on a KA to be putting out that amount of PSI and the air becomes EXTREMELY hot. Look into a T3/T4 instead, way better bang for your buck.

Edit: You would also get pretty accurate answers if this was in the KA-T section.

I know they're not the best turbo, but for the price i got it fore, I can't beat it.

And I plan on upgrading after this season of racing to a GT3071R, which is a bottom mount and will bolt right up to everything i have now..and that turbo can push quit a bit of power. :D

edit: I know but I just wanna know the estimate power, some say it won't pass 200 some say like almost 300? So I'm so confused I was wondering if anyone had a similar build or something, the ka-t forum doesn't move much. lol

According to my calculations.... about 500 to the crank.

Sounds like a good list of parts, there is room to grow which is always good.

From other KA-T builds I've read on here, it sounds like it'd be around the 250 whp range. I'm not a KAT expert, but I wonder how long the stock bottom end will handle 13 psi.

sounds like 220whp@12psi i'd say. with a turbo that tiny, you can prob boost it up to 14-16psi on a nice day at the track for a few runs. make sure to get a wideband.

I've seen many people do it, and I won't be using this as a daily driver.

I guess I'm going to have to wait till I dyno it to see the full power, because the estimates here vary to much.

I've seen KA's making about 211wph at 7psi with a t25. I think your target of 250 is within your range. But OMG... Please do not run your stock sr T25 at 14-16 lbs on a track day (or at all). Most will tell you that 14 lbs is the raw limit of the t25 ability. At that point, you're already asking for trouble. Beyond that, catastrophe is only a matter of time...

As far as the KA's bottom holding this power, this should be a walk in the park as long as your motor is in good condition and your tuning is good. I think JWT will be a great choice for you.

ok, admittingly, 16psi is prob too high. but my friend used to run his at 14 all the time at the track. he threw it on the dyno running at 12psi and he peaked at 230whp. 250 is definately an attainable goal, but the 260 range is prob max output for that specific setup, especially because of the maf and fuel pump. you should get a one piece driveshaft and flywheel and itll help put a lot more of that power to the wheels. and a z32 mafs and a better fuel pump to go along with those bigger injectors.

on the other hand, anything is possible and it's fun to try to push the limits to see how far you can take stuff.

good luck

Those numbers sound low for a ka with a t25. Are you sure you're not talking about an sr?

i'm sure it was a ka. anytime theres power loss when there shouldnt be, i blame the driveshaft. the stock 2 piece was the worst thing nissan did when building this car if you ask me. i just figured those numbers seem right since its a small turbo on a stock block with a few boltons.
