I am going to be needing a new front end for my car, which is totalled, so eventually I will be gettin everything fixed. You think I should put the factory '95 frontend back on it with a Greddy lip, or go strawberry face? I am just looking for opinions.

if you have the money, the strawberry face is a no brainer. But the greddy front lip looks good too, especially if it's all repainted n' stuff.

strawberrys are sweet, if youve got the cheese. I got the s15 conversion with drift bumper and its gonna end up costin about 5k for everything, including changing the color of the car.

can't wait to see it

yeswepromise - why does it matter?

edit:Ben- go with the strawberry face, but keep it sorta "stock" looking, like S15 stock. or just on a euro zenki face and keep your losses down.

obviously it doesnt really matter to some people.i happen to like spending my money on making my car perform better. i guess the reason i bought a 240sx was so that i could drive it and use it for its purpose.i would NEVER spend $5000 to buy a new front end on an otherwise stock car. i really hope he doesnt get in an accident right after the car gets finished with the body work and paint. although if it did happen maybe you would understand why i feel this way. well i guess that is what i think. i dont really want this to turn into a flame war.

i kinda think it sucks that he is paying $5K for that conversion and not even getting a nice bumper.

ah i just looked at his little web page thing and i see a picture of autocross. okay that is good. at least the car isnt going completly to waste.

I would replace it with the stock and put the greddy lip on it. I agree with the accident philosophy. I would wait for estimates and such on the car before I got my mind set on anything. Money will be the real issue.

I see your point. I would rather add a few K in stereo, suspension, and maintenence and invest the rest for 5 plus years till after college.

Bodykits, etc. just increase your chances of getting pulled over, or vandalized.

But i disagree on the fact that you should have 'real' mods before doing exterior stuff. You should have performance mods or some nice body kit. both = waste of money because youll **** up your kit real quick with any racing, accidents, and youll not have enough money and time to keep both looking/working good.

so are you saying you should only have performance mods or you should only have visual mods? one or the other. not both.

Thanks for all your opinions. But as of right now, the car is totalled and I am going to hopefully be getting money for it, I am going to try and strip it COMPLETELY down, and then try to find another s14. We will see what happens. News changes every few hours it seems.
