Alright, after a while of looking, I decided I want to go with the S14 SR, for obvious reasons, I own an S14... VTC, bigger turbo, newer, etc. So I found one online, and as for the compression test results, it got 150/150/150/145 PSI cold cranking.

I got pics with the valve cover off, and I need your guys opinions on it. . . From the looks of it. . . It seems like it is in great condition, I just need Nico's expertise on helping me spot any physical problems with it etc.

I know the compression is pretty low, but that is cold cranking, so once warmed up, I'm sure it will be at 160-170 psi. So that's pretty good. So anyways, here's the pics.

This one looks way better than the last one you had your heart set on.

Was the compression test done with the throttle closed or open? They do seem kind of low, but not really.

It looks to be a pretty clean unmolested motor, but of course, they could have just cleaned it off.

What website are you buying this from?

This place is called Japan Domestic Motor, and from looking at their compression test video, the first cylinder I couldn't see a hand on the throttle body, second cylinder, I can clearly see a hand on the throttle body. 3rd cylinder, off the start I don't see anyone holding the throttle body open. And 4th cylinder, I don't think I can see a hand on it.

I just emailed them to verify if they did it with the throttle body open or not. Their website's below.

Edit: Ok. . . I just got a reply from them, and they told me they didn't hold it open. . . But I told them that I can clearly see a hand on the throttle body on cylinder 2 during the compression test. . . Here's the video of the test, you guys tell me what you can see.

His hand is indeed on the throttle body, but he's not opening it or anything. His hand is just there.
