HLA question

I have kind of a newbie question. I have this tap tap tap noise coming from the head and I think I have narrowed it down to the HLA's. A buddy of mine told me that his SR has been noisy since he bought and others told him the same. The engine makes noise, dont worry about it unless it gets really loud. Now I dont know that much about lash adjusters so is this something I should worry about or should I let it go until it gets worse like my buddy said? Any info or opinions would be appreciated.
