HKS Wastegate with Boost Solenoid SR20DET

Ok, so everyone know that on the SR20DET the stock wastegate actuator is 7 pounds. The factory solenoid creates a controlled leak between the manifold and the actuator so that when the manifold sees 11 pounds, the actuator sees 7 and opens up. If you tell me that your boost gauge read 7 psi, it's because you didn't install the boost solenoid when you did your swap. Now my question is, do I need to remove the boost solenoid to install my HKS Adjustable Wastegate or I can leave it there. I have no intentions on having a boost controller.

I have a 94 180sx rsp13, that came with the boost solenoid, and stock boost is 7psi, the boost solenoid is not for making boost
