did anybody install one of those on a stok engine?i read they are rated at 12psi and also heard they are adjustable, but i dont know if it will increase or decrease the boost,( higher or lower than 12psi)im planning on upgrading my t25 to a gt28r but right know i dont have money to upgrade injectors and maf so i was wondering if installing the hks actuator with the gt28r will be safe on a stock engine.

yes, even at 7 psi, you won't leak like the stock actuator does. good stuff.

I use it and run at 14psi, stock injectors and maf. Holds very steady. You can adjust to the boost you want assuming you have a boost gauge. all you do is turn the screw, and test...

I ran a ltye model ball bearing t28 on my car and a gtir t28 on my friends. we are both on stock injectors and maf's. I have a tuned ecu and he is stock. if you go over 12psi I hope you have a metal head gasket. at 12psi though it should be ok, you may want to bump a couple psi of fuel pressure. on all stock motor at 18psi you need about 60psi at idle.

Going over 12 psi doesn't necessitate having a metal head gasket. You need larger injectors and a good tune (Power FC, Enthalpy). No need to run that kind of high fuel pressure.
